Child Abuse and the Church
While child abuse occurs in all of society and most commonly in the home, it has become a major problem for churches, principally in the Roman Catholic, Episcopalian and Anglican communities, though by no means confined to them. This article sets out some of the reasons for this and possible solutions.
It is for educational purposes, study and discussion. David Townsend is "post-christian" but lives in a largely Christian community where the problem persists.
